The following 10 tips are a must for all men, regardless of your age:

  1. Talk with your healthcare provider about a check-up.
  2. Snack pre-cut vegetables and fruit to help fill your daily servings of fruit and vegetables.
  3. Find healthy ways to blow off steam – a workout, hobby, whatever helps you to relax and wind down.
  4. Get physically active regularly through participation in an individual or team sport or even walking,
  5. Follow safety precautions at work and at home.
  6. Get the health screening recommended for your age and personal risk factors.
  7. Use sunscreen regularly throughout the year to prevent skin cancer.
  8. Get enough sleep. You need 7 – 8 hours of sleep daily, to rest and recharge.
  9. Learn the risk factors and warning signs for what commonly affects men.
  10. Cut down on alcohol.
