The following 10 tips are a must for all men, regardless of your age:
- Talk with your healthcare provider about a check-up.
- Snack pre-cut vegetables and fruit to help fill your daily servings of fruit and vegetables.
- Find healthy ways to blow off steam – a workout, hobby, whatever helps you to relax and wind down.
- Get physically active regularly through participation in an individual or team sport or even walking,
- Follow safety precautions at work and at home.
- Get the health screening recommended for your age and personal risk factors.
- Use sunscreen regularly throughout the year to prevent skin cancer.
- Get enough sleep. You need 7 – 8 hours of sleep daily, to rest and recharge.
- Learn the risk factors and warning signs for what commonly affects men.
- Cut down on alcohol.
